Freshly Plated Human Hepatocytes are useful to evaluate short-term and long-term repeat-toxicity as well as enzyme-induction potential of drug candidates.

Each order of Freshly Plated Human Hepatocytes is evaluated by experienced cell biologists to ensure good cell morphology and confluency. The product is accompanied by a datasheet containing donor demographic informations and picture of the cell culture.

Upon request, we can ensure quality throughout the culture period by performing in-house induction analysis, using prototypical inducers, on each individual donor.

biohazardKaLy-Cell has the ability by the French Ministry of Research (AC-2014-2155) to prepare and store products from human origin for research purposes (CSP articles L 1243-3 and L 1243-4), and the ability by the French Ministry of Research to export human samples (CSP article L 1245-5). KaLy-Cell also has the agreement of the French Agency of Biomedicine (CSP article L 1232-3). KaLy-Cell only accepts tissue from donors who test negative for HIV 1 and 2, HTLV, and Hepatitis B and C. However, as a precaution, all human-derived samples should be regarded as a potential biohazard and should be stored, handled and discarded accordingly. Cellular and subcellular fractions are intended for in vitro use only
